Been awhile since I've ventured into these forums...so hi... again. (I like giving feedback *shrug*)
Anyway...
What spurred some of the FX choice in and around 0:50? Some of them seem a little out of character for the track, some fit pretty well. (weird twangy sound was weird)
Liked the interplay around 2:00 between the synths. Song seems to lack a little energy here though. Extra hats as stated above could help with this.
Rev/Cymbal release at 2:28 could be slightly longer to provide less abruptness into the break. (the breakdown was quite abrupt)
To me the electro synth that comes in at 3:16 comes in a good bit louder than everything else. It even drowns out the kick that eventually comes in. If I set my volume to 5%, I can pretty much only hear that synth.
Also, is it intentional to have the build-in after the break sound totally different than the prior idea? It's just slightly jarring to completely transition from that nice dark prog. vibe, into the brighter more aggressive one, with the small amount of time spent on transition. Most songs I've heard that go for total idea/mood switch, take a little more time to transition over.
Liked the initial dark prog. bit, as it was moody and had a nice groove and some emotion. Didn't particularly like what came after the break as much, and it seemed alot weaker musically than what came before it. I do like the rich sound you get out of your songs, and that section around 2:00 compliments it.
Good idea so far, finished result will probably be pretty cool. No opinion on vocals, soz.

Lol, damn it this is what happen if you are undecided about specific direction for your track lol - since I didn't and don't know if this should be a vocal track or instrumental it's probably sounding unfinished or missing something structurally bonding this whole idea together and in this part I completely agree with you .
I probably explain already in this thread why this sound the way it is and don't wont to go into lengthy explanation again but, just to summarize a little -> in the case this is a vocal track I had to leave a specific space/room for a vocal to do his/her job and didn't wont to overcrowd all those freq with different type of instruments sound -> in the case of this track become full instrumental production a lot of things will need to be rearrange and tweak before can/could be officially release
And finally last thing I would like to mention in my respond to your comment is that your observation about this second part of my track is perfectly correct and it's consequence of trying to blend vocal (first of the track) and instrumental (second part of it) together into a one WIP as my mind at that time wasn't set on the final solution for this production yet
Anyway I always appreciate your time and opinion my friend - Thanks
Cheers,
Darek
