I remember that story. You shared it at least once since I started on forums. Even Bums want the good shit during WMC.

Damn, how'd I get involved, haha.....
It's not really that intersting, but years and years ago I met ArminD on TA and roomed with him that year in Miami. On friday, after a few days of already destroying my liver, we boarded the Sasha & Digweed yacht. This was my first one and, low and behold, liquor was free. Now, anyone who knows me knows that my favorite two words in the English language are Open Bar. I spent the next five hours on that boat pretending I was in the vodka olympics. I walked straight off the boat that evening and ran to Ultra just for Carl Cox, where I switched to beer mistakingly thinking it would slow me down. As Ultra finished up, I hustled over to Space for PVD. Once in the club, it only seemd appropriate to return to the liquor, which I did for the next 8 hours. Sometime early in the morning as I was trying to keep moving to Sander K on the terrace, I became incredibly dizzy and cold. Dehydration had set in big time. We decided to take off and all I could think about was the hotel room bed. ArminD and his girfriend thought that breakfasst was a better idea. On the drive to the diner my cold chills changed quickly into the craziest sweat of my life. After we parked, I chose to stay in the car because the thought of food was an awful one. ArminD was nice enough to buy me gatorade, which I couldn't drink either. Thanks buddy, haha... As they enjoyed their delicious breakfast, I was sweating buckets in the parking lot. When they came out, I had opened the door for air and was half hanging out of the car. At one point, a cop or security guard passed by and, in my dizzy stupor, I could imagine how bad the rest of my weekend could have turned out if he stopped. Anyway, we made it back to the hotel, and I started feeling a little better as I passed out. Despite keeping me in the parked car like a canine, ArminD and I have been friends ever since.

Well, it's ok to live it up as long as you learn your lesson when things go astray. Sadly, I did not.. The next year I started feeling very off (dizzy, blurred vision) because of sleep deprivation in the middle of 40 or 50 straight hours. A year or two after that another open bar yacht eventually lead to a horrible end after an anjunabeats party. Spent the early morning in and out of the Karu-Y bathroom losing my stomach and unable to attend the next party which was off the hook.
Fortunately, I've progressed somewhat and the last several years have gone very well. I like to think that I've fine-tuned my partying in order to get as much out of the week as possible. Still, I do exceed my limit from time to time, like having to leave M_nus at 9am cause a friend had the FU bracelet and was feeding me the entire night. This year is my shortest trip to WMC, so it's gonna be hard to "pace" myself, haha, especially since I've already got a serious marathon planned from Friday night to Sunday morning.

Learned my lesson year one in college. Like an idiot I decided to have a shots contest with a guy who was basically an alcoholic. Went for a sit outside on the balcony and BLACK OUT. Remember waking up the next day in my bed in my dorm. Walked over to my next door neighbors and they told me I had fallen backwards off the balcony into a bush, scurried like a ninja on the walls (burned my knee on a radiator), and sang the Trogdor song from Homestarrunner.
After that I cut back on my intake so much I was basically straight edge, but after awhile I just learned self control.

On the M.A.N.D.Y. Get Physical cruise two years ago, we also enjoyed the great open bar concept. During the middle of the cruise, the boat went to shore to drop off some garbage and one of my friends walked off the boat thinking it was over. we lost him for the entire evening and next morning he somehow stumbled home eventho he didn't have any proper clothing or ID or money. the rest of us had fun on the boat and when we were leaving, me and my bf were walking along the road to catch a cab when we were scared out of our wits by a bus trying to chase us down honkning manicly. it ended up being the rest of our friends that chartered the bus last minute to take us around south beach. pretty random and pretty typical for a night in miami.
