i'm not suggesting that model. I'm saying i want something that fits the aesthetic standard as I outlined.

these are low draw units. They won't start a fire any more than using a fucking powerbar.

if you connect instruments that draw more power than they can supply they will melt down or fuse will go, compared to how much you overload them. the fuses are normally only to prevent big overload, but small overloads like 0,5-1A are the really dangerous ones that goes undetected and melts the plastic and eventually sets your rug on fire. i understand that you want something that doesnt look like a 1970s school lab but unfortunately thats the best ones if youre needing 25 amps or more. they probably can be found more "astetic" with digital meters instead but they need to be big and with all kinds of protections and venting fans. How many devices do you have? I pictured myself a couple of racks filled with gear but if its like 5-10 devices then id just keep the existing supplys.

how bout these:

again, i can fucking add. WHy are you making this so fucking difficult.

I don't have a rug. There is no risk of fire. If you can't give a linkn to a unit as described, fuck off. I don't know how much simpler i can explain what i want. If it desn't exist, say so. Otherwise just fuck off. I can't stand people that just add noise to hear themselves speak. I understand using a powersupply and doing the wiring yourself. it isn't rocket science. In fact it is pretty fucking easy but the poin is that that i coudl not be bothered. I want a solution already done.

i also hire a fucking maid. I know how to clean. I just don't want to be bothered with it. I don't own a car. I hire taxis. I can afford a car. Again, i don't want to be bothered with it.

lol. im trying to explain to you that the thing you want isnt really what you want unless you have like 5 devices. and in that case i dont see the point. but whatever im not gonna try help. youre obsessed looking for whatever vision of a device you had in your head instead of looking for the best solution available. i can relate, i do it all the time. typical aspergers. conclusion: hire an electrician and dont look back. like with your maid.

you get angry because i clearly say what i want and you describe something else. Have I ever fucking complained about anything I purchased here ? I know what I want, i know what i want it to look like and all you fucks need to do is either say it doesn't exist, accept you don't know and click on the forum and fuck off, or give a fucking model or company or lead.

anything else is just fucking noise. You are not helping, you are wasting your time and there is no fucking point unless you like to see your words on screen. How do you people not get fired when you don't know how to parse a fucking question. Seriously, it is not difficult and i have very little patience when people are wasting my fucking energy.

cool.

an example

The terminals are no issue, I just want the distribution done on the unit rather than messing around with one out and wires.

You've got a couple of options:

Voodoo Lab. They make all kinds of differnt power boxes, both isolated and not, with a multitude of connector options.

1spot. Cheap, but could to the trick?

And then Kramer electronics.

http://www.kramerelectronics.com/pr...del.asp?pid=415

Personally, I've used a lot of Kramer products before and they are top notch. If most your kit is 12v, I think that's the winner right there.

You're going to be really hard pushed to find a multiple output, completely selectable (volts/amps for each output) DC power adapter. It could be something that someone could easily make for you for relatively little ($500?).

All the other solutions are going to be modular systems with terminals that you'd have to connect cables to yourself.

TBH, you don't actually have to worry so much about volts if they;re in the ball park. Nearly all unregulated (and that accounts for most cheap DC-PSU's) put out as much as 50% too much (I have several 9v that put out as much as 18v) and as long as they have the min ampage requirements you'll be fine. What's not good to way too low (won't work) or way too high (will heat up or even fry your kit). Simple test with an ammeter will do it.
