Both good, maceos transitions at the beginning were a lil off but he banged it the fuck out the entire time, good show imo.

Had a great night. I though both Maya and Maceo Plex were off the chain. Yeah the transitions could have been tighter but the music was really good. Had kind of a warehouse party feel IMO. My booty was on the floor dancing all night.

saw both of them at Beyond Wonderland. Although big fans of both, i wasn't really impressed with their sets.

big fan of maya's productions but her set bored me to tears. maceo kicked the energy up a bit from there, i was feelin it... although i got tired and left halfway through his set

Had much higher expectations from both, especially Maceo. Seen Maya Jane Coles a few times and this performance was a bit underwhelming. Though it could have something to do with my mood and Exchange, I hate that place when it's crowded.

i think exchange is a nice club but i hate seeing underground acts there. don't know why but it doesn't feel comfortable.

but, maybe i need to give it another shot.

Mjc was extremely boring. Maceo was much better, but his bpm set had my expectations so high i was a bit let down. I want a maetrik set soon.

IDK the venue seems cool but not my type of place really. I know what you mean about getting a weird feeling seeing underground acts there, but MJC and maceo plex aren't really underground anymore, and that's why they would play at that type of venue. Just what - 14 months ago? - mjc was playing a voodoo party. Now exchange. Yowza

Sound system is great but way too bright with the lights and strobes. Would be better if they kept the place darker. BTW, I'm talking from my time there for Carl Cox. I assume it was the same for this night... And if there was confetti, that shit don't work with more underground type nights.
