The timing starts out OK, but the individual lines start to get ahead of the beat around 0:29. I'd start by splitting each line into its own clip and nudge it back (i.e., later) in time by a few ms at a time until each one is on, or just behind, the beat. A vocal like this sounds unnatural when it's pushing the beat - keep it a little on the lazy side and have it just behind the beat and it should feel much more fluid.

Yep, totally agree with you and splitting each vocal section is what I am in the process of doing. Man...this is a tough one
Oddly enough, you guys didn't mention the original problem of the "drop off's". Maybe the pad's and added vocal ooh's are helping?

And yes, Beautiful thing's has been such an inspiring piece and I have ALWAYS wanted to do a bootleg of this but never felt that any of my music was worthy of such. Funny thing is, I created the music part and it wasnt until it was nearly complete that I had a vision of beautiful things come up and I said.."Whoa, can this be the one?"
I just so dont want to destroy such a classic song and want to keep the integrity. Hope I can at least do it justice

I could work, but focus on Cryo's feedback, curious how it turns out
