+1

That's why I'm asking about it.

I'm sure once I sit down with my father and give him the scoop he'll point me in the right direction, too. After all, he lives there.

Getting an outside perspective can't hurt, though.

Already some great points made.

Yea, the only flying I'll be doing is in and out of Europe.

I'm a big fan of trains, even if it does take a bit more time.

I'd much rather take the train, since I have the time to do so. Meet new people, see the countrysides, etc. I guess finding the right pass or planning the best routes to the destinations I want to visit is the biggest question, right now.

I'm pretty set on Germany, Amsterdam and Italy, at the moment.

I might be driving around Europe about that time, if you wanna catch a ride anywhere. Was originally planning on doing it in June, but why leave Norway in the one month we have nice weather and the girls get undressed? There's still snow here in May so I'm dying to get away from this depressing-ass shithole.
I mean, I'm a little crazy, but most of it is for show, and most TA's I've been in contact with can vouch for me being a pretty down to earth guy IRL. Most.

It's more expensive because it's a much more pleasant experience. No waiting in airports, no having to fly shitty airlines just because they're cheap. If you're paying 25 euro for a plane ticket, there's a reason for that. The trains are more comfortable, and it's a way better overall experience. It's absolutely worth an extra couple hundred Euro. Plus those cheap flights are constantly delayed, so you really wouldn't be saving a huge amount of time anyways.

A lot of the trains in the Euro rail lines travel at 300+ km/h, so it's completely different than any of the American trains you might have been on.

The way things are going, your buck is worth more everyday in Euroland.

Skip Spain, Italy, Greece, and Portugal.

Shitholes bro.

I'm eagerly awaiting some unheard-of story that Stu will no doubt reveal to us about how he ate some cat gyros in Cyprus with 5 of his vagrant friends and somehow woke up in a Czech Ossuary breastfeeding from a statue that he just drove a taxi through.

You can get in by your own free will or I can track you through FB+phone and put you in the trunk. But I gotta say, the passenger seat is much comfier.
