North Korea plans to start up it's nuclear reactor after collecting dust for years.

John Kerry: "hmmm... we might have to ... uh... defend ourselves."

That is fucking FREEDOM right there. I'm getting blue balls just from all of this dick swinging.

Problem is Kim youngun hasn't really done nothing but show the beginning of the shaft, he's never pulled out the whole cock, leaving us pondering if it's as expected, a regular tiny baby-dick, but maybe, juust maybe he has a magnum dong unlike any of his predecessors.
Only time will tell.

Edit: 2 points will be awarded for each pop culture reference positively identified. "Two points you say? Do you really think I would want your lame fucking "points", Alfi?" Why yes, I do, for these points can be traded in for cash, among other marvelous prizes.

This is one of the things that I have on my list of "shit could get real" steps.

Thats a HUGE chunk of their (north korea's) GDP. Closing it only hurts themselves.

If they cared about income right now, they would have kept it open. Samsung and Hyundai both invest in Kaesong for dirt cheap labour and it hurts SK companies as well. Seeing the power these two companies have within SK politics, it'll be interesting to watch this situation with Kaesong progress.

Well, we're basically at the stage now where NK has to attack SK to up the ante any further. Slightly exaggerating there, of course, but they are very quickly running out of soft ways to make their point. Of course, if they attack SK, hell will rain down upon them. Next few days should be interesting!

Yea. North Korea has a massive bio-weapons and chemical weapons capacity (though their bio-weapons program is probably over-exaggerated).

I don't know. North Korea is like the eternal tease... It is getting to the point where no matter the cost I just want to see it over with!

I'm calling it now, NK's not going to lift a finger when it comes to attacking another country. Call me crazy, but I'm of the opinion that almost all of NK's shit-talking is done solely to boost its citizens perception of NK, rather than to actually gain any sort of foothold on the international stage. The average NK citizen doesn't have access to the outside world, but people like Un do, and they know what's waiting for them if they were to attack anybody. I don't think we should be letting our panties get in such a twist; let them play all of the crazy propaganda videos that they want, that's all they're ever going to do.

I said the same thing to Nou a few years back during the last time North Korea acted like a little bitch, and look at all of the nothing that happened then. Maybe I'm wrong, though. If they do attack anybody, it'll be all over for them within 24 hours.

The problem is that Un is in a slightly precarious position, being a new leader. He needs to impress the generals who lead the military, and we don't know how far he's willing to go to do so.

I'm hoping they won't do anything, but it's extremely hard to tell.

In more news, we're moving anti-missile batteries to Guam. While that's good and I completely support it, I worry that we don't have any based in SK or Japan. The US will be fine if we go to war with NK; our allies in the region won't be. Once we get those missile-batteries up and running, then we can act from a stronger position, without worrying so much.

Give them a promise that if they try anything, we will bomb them back to the stone age, then stop sending aid to them until they accept that they won't become a nuclear power anytime soon.
