You obviously didn't pay attention in the beginning, alternatively you're suffering from selective memory. The first episodes were slow as hell. Both first season started off at a pretty slow pace. Remember that long ass scene where that black dude tried to get the guts to shoot his zombiefied wife? It was like fucking twelve minutes ffs...

It was Zombie Drama from minute one, and that's why I loved it.
First couple of minutes of this seasons finale was also spectacular and fed my gore need enough that I needn't to read about genocide that night

I just remember it being slow because it was trying to be scary. No one around, eerie silence etc. Then there was some action. Then when it reached that camp with those people and all their weak personal life stories and troubles, it turned to shit. Then again I only watched a couple of episodes into that and gave up.
