Also, drinks look really awesome when refracted in the sunlight. And they look even better and better as the afternoon goes on, COINCIDENTALLY ENOUGH.

BBQ's are fucking killer.

In other news, I just bought some new kicks and new sandals today. Had to prepare for the summer, as everything I owned in the shoe department (other than dress shoes) looked like homeless person shoes.

And then after, I walked onto my balcony and sat outside and drank liquid gold. Because patio beers are awesome.

I had my first BBQ of the season today. Big fan!

My backyard currently is a wasteland but I'm planning on turning it into this nice comfy lounge area in a couple of weeks so I can spend a great deal of my summer in it. Nothing beats coming home from work and relaxing in your own yard, with the sun on your head, meat on the BBQ and a nice cold Hoegaarden in your hand.

BBQs are great. Such an awesome way to bring people together with a common interest in mind – food!

The most memorable experience at a BBQ was going to a high school friend's family union. About 2-300 (black) people and I was the only white guy. I mean, talk about accepting, they made sure I left there with nothing but good things to say. The food was good, the company was great, and the booze and how we all participated in downing it was the cherry on top.

On another note, it's about 24 here right now and I'm about to go sit on the porch with a nice glass of Lagavulin 16.

It's expensive everywhere, but it's worth it. Also anything Ron Swanson drinks is highly recommended.

Your mom disagrees.

Let me call her for verification.

Ah you ppl with jobs and money

Stuck here drinking absolute shit waiting for my grad school program to start, so after I can actually start my career and get real money

But at least I can still experience a beer, regardless of how it tastes, on a fine sunny day on my patio chair.

I was actually thinking of getting one of those balcony BBQ thingies, but they aren't allowed in my building
