ack, i personnaly think mobile djs are flip djs but then again digweed carl cox both started out as mobile djs, setup dosent really matter as long as you can play songs not much skill is needed for it as most people dont know what good mixing is that are at these things

if you can make money as a mobile dj, go for it. fuck it, who cares, if you can make "X" amount of money a night flipping tracks at somebodys graduation party or whatever, go for it. use the money to buy some records or whatever. it might not be the pinnacle of djing but if you can make money at and support yourself it beats delivering pizzas or whatever.

exactly at least you can basicly pratice beat matching if your mobile djing and you'll have more experience hence more likely to play out at a club, plus you'll be able to earn money for new decks, mixer, vinyl etc.
