The NSA exists precisely for things like this. The big deal, however, is that it appears in clear violation of the 4th Amendment... but I am sure it's in the fine print somewhere on your Verizon contract that you forfeit all constitutional rights in lieu of unprecedented surveillance and all of the national security that has been proven to ensure. Like... uhhh... you know that one time... ?

If it wasn't in the initial contract, it was in one of the ceaseless EULA revisions people accept (whether they know it or not) because you have to be a fucking lawyer to notice any discrepancies. This obtuse and elitist nature of business in our century is precisely why Tea Party values are queerly logical, despite their compounded ignorance.

Can't wait till they've got a more noticeable number of unmanned surveillance drones patrolling the skies. It's predicted that drones with mind reading capabilities will eventually be deployed for security purposes. At least then they won't have to monitor or phone calls.
