Actually some of u may be guilty of possesion of absinth paraphanelia I see them in mothers tea spoon collections. U know what I am refering to those cute wittle spoons with some tourist BS on them that you find at any tourist shop. If your spoon has a thing halfway down the middle with holes in it usually the shape of an oval with some elaborate design that is an absinth spoon. Other types are normal spoons cept they have holes in the regular spoon part many I've seen are flat instead of curved up. Actually absinth is legal in England/Spain/Czech. in fact I got some with my magazine subscription even tho i'm in the US. Its ok to posses in the US much like a Cuban cigar u just can't sell it or bring it into the states. It is made of worm wood yes but often has other herbs in it. Watch Moulon Rouge and you will see that most of the characters are almost always intoxicated on the drug. (which explains the creative costumes dialogue and festive mood)

The art o absinth goes like this you get an absinth glass there are many types but usually they have a one OZ. mark you fill up to that mark the rest of the way with water. (only people with dysfunctioning taste buds will drink it straight) Next you place ur spoon neatly over the top of the glass. Place sugar cube (best are the losenge shaped french kind yummy) and pour ur oz of absinth followed by the water and stir. you should have a cloudy green drink. Sip and enjoy.

Which leads me back to my gadget the Absinthe Fountain I still have no fucking clue what its for. Its either to hold the absinth pre mix the shit or hold the water I have no clue either way.

My moron brother Theo wanted a self portrait that he could show to the buyers in Paris. So I started one only to find I couldn't paint ears properly. Some people can't paint hands or horses, I can't paint ears. I tried my self portrait in a hat but I couldn't get the ear out of sight. In desperation I wore the hat and tied a rag around my head and it seemed to work. Theo wrote back demanding what had happened to my ear, I told him I had cut it off while shaving.

He believed me (he must think I'm a basket case). but he couldn't tell customers that. So the fool embellished the story for his artsy fartsy friends and now all of Paris thinks I cut off my ear for the love of some woman. Now I have to wear the rag around my head all the time. The people of Arles are starting to think me weird.
