Howard is an employment lawyer... they don't generally need publicity, as the general public has little need for employment lawyers, he would get better results with a $30K cocktail party for HR managers and/or union bosses.

No one should feel bad, loosing his car cost him nothing, he's getting a new Ferrari free!

I saw it as whatever he's heading off to is gonna land him a lot more money than an entry level Ferrari is worth. now since he's owned one he can buy a new one. that would be my thinking in acquing a 458.

And the rest of us pay for it. Nobody is accountable for their actions. I'll just get a new one for free. shitty driving = free new car how does that work.

I'm not sure that you can really get upset at this. He's receiving the same coverage through his insurance that anyone who purchased the same coverage would get. That is kinda what insurance is for.

I went home early on Monday and missed the mayhem. But being a sys-admin, my phone was ringing off the hook from Monday night through Tuesday night when I got all of my systems back up.

It was a rough 24hours after watching the storm from home.

I was on the 5:30 non-stop to shit creek.

To sum it up: Uncomfortably hot, borderline panic around 7 to 7:30 PM when the water level rose above the bottom windows, and for the rest of the night... bored, hungry, tired, and a little bit annoyed. I think it was after 2:30 AM when I finally got home.

It was almost worth it to get to watch a cop car towing a canoe into the lake, then immediately sinking and floating off into another car (or a tree, or something), bumper-car style. I obviously felt bad for the driver but it was still hilarious.
