Uhh, nope. He can totally be an asshole on here, I'll always be the first person to tell you that. In public, though, he's not. I've never known him to be a prick to anybody in person, and have certainly never been embarrassed in public by him, nor have I suffered any sort of social damage by proxy. He is a hell of a fun guy to hang out with outside of TA, and he has always been front and center at every gig I've had, and I've only seen packed crowds rather than people keeping a five-foot radius from him.
Keep assuming, though.
