what you must remember is that those guys may be playing in clubs already and thus can get a chance to hear their track sounds like on a big system
Bass and sub-bass is just so hard to judge on headphones

Repeating you - I will not have access to monitors for a long time.
Are you a bundle of hatred just here online or in life in general?

Regarding Arty and Daniel Kandi - were they working on tunes where they'd previously set up their low end and checked it on monitors? A lot of artists use a small selection of kicks and basses across a number of songs, so they'll just load up a template where the low end is already set up. Then they'll just change the basses notes and add in all the pad and lead and high drum elements.

If you've already set up your low end and felt it hit you in the chest via monitors, headphones will be absolutely fine. If not, then it's unlikely you'll be able to turn them up loud enough that you can hold them in front of you and feel the low end hitting you in the chest. It may sound great to your ears, but that doesn't guarantee it'll feel right through speakers at volume.
