And yes, even if these people chose to buy likes, it won't be as effective when you are actually trying to promote something.
Whats the point of running promotional campaigns if all 40 thousand of your viewers are fake? On top that, the way Facebook algorithm is set up, only about 50-100 out of that 40k will see what you post. It will take a lot of activity for the post to be seen by majority of your followers.
Thats why "reach" is a way better metric then "likes", you can have 40k fake likes, but whats the point of running promos if all the people that sees it are fake?
