It was already confirmed by the promoters (Twisted), so not sure what you're referring to.

It will not be louder then Slinky.....we have laws in this city.

Im sure our scene would be better if promoters were allowed to run around the city playing music as loud as they want at all hours of the night

Seeming as how the Twisted site is down I couldnt find out. Plus you tend to hear a lot of rumours on these forums

when is the last time, if ever, that ferry played at the commodore?

someone on nwtekno said something about how they missed him last time he was there, but i am pretty damn sure he hasnt been there, at least in the last 2-3 years. then again, this same person said they were sorry they missed him at area 2 which is obviously wrong, so i dont trust their credability much

No, its a bunch of middle aged asian people at lots of vancity parties. sometimes they are really old and its disturbing. but whatever, having fun isn't a crime.

i have 3 issues with the plaza.

1. the line at the beginning. do you canadians just not care if the entire back half of the line walks past you to the front? i really didnt understand that. at one point i blocked the steady stream of people walking past me, and they were like "wtf, move"... everyone around me looked at me like i was crazy. so yea, standing in line twice as long just so everyone can walk past you, sucks ass.

2. the floor. at least at most venues, people sit against the wall, not EVERYWHERE. i remember that i would manage to find a small circle to dance in, and within 5 minutes, i couldnt move because people had sat down in it.

3. rude people. i really, really hope that this was not a typical thing, but i got ran into every 15 seconds or so (i counted at one point because i was so irritated). i went to the very back corner of the plaza to dance because i was fed up, had about 10 feet around me in all directions, and people STILL ran into me. and unlike down here, where, if someone runs into you, they stop, apologize, at least say "sorry"... i was apologized to 3 times. out of hundreds >_<

i dunno. i came for the talent last time, and i left early because my night was ruined by the vibe and those 3 issues. it really left a bad taste in my mouth. i am *praying* that its not like that this time, because i really want to enjoy the music. kinda hard tho when you cant dance and get slammed into all the time.

That's pretty harsh. Normally it's not nearly that bad, although it's not exactly the best at any time =P
