for what its worth, just came back from Philly, was at EF last night, 1st time there, sold out night.
crowding wise, at capacity, the place was ok, and the sound was ok too.
head sec. told me, if I had to step out, he'd allow that, just have to be researched, which sucks, cause the line was not good. but at least it's possible.
what sucked, ALOT, was the water situation.
the damn place ran out of bottled water before 11:30, that is fucking absurd.
not only that, it took the visit of THREE bars, and a long wait at each one, to find that out, cause the first two just said: this bar is out, go to that one.
such unprofessional shit.
the last bar tender did give out cups of water, but I could have had that like 25 mins earlier at bar one, if they managed that better.
plus, you couldn't even take the water cup out of the way-too-crowded bar area, so chugging and leaving was only option.
this is bs, and stupid, cause it just predisposes people to dehydrate too much, then people collapse, and everyone is unhappy when the city steps in.
saw two people carried out, yeah it's the molly, k, general pharma-smorgasbord, three different chems minimum 'n booze crowd, but this just doesn't help.
enough ranting...
(oh yeah, my event ended at 1:40...)
place right next door had an AP til 4, but that looked way to small for the same names...
oh, thanks for the club name dropping, RA is shit when it comes to Philly, no listings most nights, even though it appears that there is some stuff around
