right but thing of what you can do with say with a midi/osc to cv converter. It is just something that well, hardware's weak points are the sequencers. They are always too rigid and quantized. In fact most people with modular setups use bidule.

I mean it is used by so many people and it really isn't that hard to understand. It sin't meant to replace your daw

For example, i have a bank of chain effects, and then a bank of inputs, and i can not only automate anything with enveloppes but you can also alter the matrix as to what is sending what were. You can insert an audio crossfader for each so that the sound morphs,


It is just liberating. It does what you can't do in any daw.

so much butthurt in this thread.

I just can't be bothered with bidule. It's great for what it does (max was always just too much of a headache) but it's really for people who want to spend hours making their soundsources or daw, rather than using it.

I think it's a great tool for any sound designer or even composer, but for the average producer, simply not ever needed.
