I'd enjoy a tune more if i knew what it was and heard it played at a rave/club.

Well I think hearing a track I love is much more exciting! For example at GK, I'm jumping around having a great time thinking 'this is great stuff!'. But then we hear a tiny recognisible sound of Cafe del Mar and we go spastic!
So yeah, hearing tracks you don't know but like is good, but hearing tracks you do know and like is better

Hearing a track you know and love will always get you excited. But there have been plenty of times ive heard a track for the first time and thought "this is a fucken sick track" The only bad thing that happens is that you go nuts trying to find out what the track is called. I know plenty of you have said to a mate one time or another" Whats that song called? You know the one that goes like this" And then you pathetically try to hum or whistle the tune. And of course they never know what the fuck your on about. hahaha

I like the moment, when a DJ plays a very new but wicked song for the first time, that you have heard once or twice before, but still not very familiar with it. Then when the song really starts to kick, and you turn to your friend, smile and both manage to trainspot the song title at the same time (yelling it out together), a very satisfying feeling.

I definitely prefer a song I know and love! I find there's nothing better than going psycho to one of my favourite tunes.

I enjoy it a lot more when I hear a good track that I don't know. I guess it's because I don't know what to expect or what's going to happen next.
I find that when I hear a track I already know it's a bit like "Oh yea, I know this one, I wonder what track's next."
