Do you think it's easier to jam live beats on those horizontally arranged pads or is it easier on pads arranged like on Machine or MPC? I mean the way it's arranged on the TR8 is not too dissimilar to a keyboard.
909 kicks, snares and hats are still darn good for today's dance music but white noise rises are mostly used instead of cymbals now.
Anyway, sounds nice and punchy!

The TR touts a step sequencer, opposed to MPC type drum pads, it's not about the lay out it's about the workflow
