Unfortunately I have to agree with Lews. I liked a lot certain tracks (like the opener) but others were too much "step" for my taste. Mixing was fantastic though and even though I said I didn't like some of the tracks, I skipped nothing from the set haha, so it shouldn't be interpreted as negative feedback. Looking forward to the next one!

Idk. I like pretty much all of the tracks, but I like the last 3 a bit less. I'm sorry you guys don't like them. If you all aren't into the atmospheric/dubstep/psystep style, then that's fine, but I just disagree with your all's tastes I suppose. I quite enjoyed this mix.

come on ya'll, open your mind to the music. don't be turned off because something is a style you don't like. that's so silly and close minded. i see SO many comments like this on these forums. good music is good music, don't hate because the beat style isnt 4/4 trance or house

I'm really not trying to be a hater or close-minded here. Most the music I listen to these days isn't 4/4 trance or house. The majority of the tunes just didn't vibe right with me. Nothing wrong with the tunes, just not for me.

This is why I didn't want to write any feedback, because I don't want you to feel bad that I didn't like it. It just is not for me. If you enjoy it, that's the important thing - especially when lots of other people agree!

Trust me, I am the last person that will shot down a genre and dismiss something solely based on that but I can't force myself to like the music when it doesn't appeal to me.

I don't feel bad. I understand that you didn't like it, I guess I just didn't really understand why. One of the biggest problems I have with reviews like that is when people say they don't like something and can't explain why they don't like it. Saying that the tunes were nice, and the mixing was nice, but it didn't vibe right with you just doesn't make much sense to me. There's no reasoning in that at all.

Yeah, this is one of those times when I wish I were better at talking about art. I just have no emotional response to the majority of the tunes. As I said, some of them I greatly enjoyed, some of them I seriously disliked, but the majority did nothing for me, so the mix felt rather bland.

Huh. Well that's a shame, and I'm sorry to hear that. I spend a lot of time digging really deep for these tracks, it takes a lot of effort and I try my best to create a mix I'm proud of every single time. The bummer about reviews like yours is that even though I enjoy my own mix and I'm happy with it, when someone like you and Mag don't enjoy it, I almost stop listening to it completely, because I feel like it was a failure.

Oh come on, dude. The vast majority of people really enjoyed it. A small minority just found it wasn't to their taste. I gave it a try because I've enjoyed a number of your trance mixes in the past, but this just didn't do it for me.

Lol who is the vast majority? It's 60/40 so far in reviews (literally only 5 people have told me they listened). And it doesn't matter if 100 people like it, if 1 person doesn't like it, and they express to me that they didn't like it, it sticks with me. That's just how my mind works.

djnitride, Dave King, jonmitz, Ted, Selma, and Hal all liked it. Magadansky and I didn't. 6:2, 3:1, is a rather large majority. Especially when the two of us who didn't like it didn't hate it, it just wasn't our type of music. That shouldn't upset you - it has nothing to do with you, just our tastes. Different strokes and all that.
