The Function Loops are pretty good. Huge fan of all the work from Function Loops as they barely process any of their sample packs which leaves a ton of headroom and more potential for creativity and experimenting. They're also quite an unknown in the loop world (though becoming more popular since they continue to put out great release after great release) so you're not going to be working with vox that have been stepped all over by other producers.
But really man, if you're that set on some solo vox, just find someone out there willing to record for ya. Start by finding a vocalist to do a cover of a song you've always loved or wanted to remix. That's exactly what I did and it turned out half way decent. It's a great learning experience, too.
Cryophonik knows and works with many singers, who I know would be willing to do something for you for little to maybe even free depending on how much they like the project. If you want to write your own original vox, then get your track done and use a sax emulation for the vox part and find someone to sing & record it afterwards.
