What a great night!! I got to meet some more of you TA's, Fast, Razeryokes, alec. Thanks to Biggy once again for putting together a night like this. And yes, it looks like montreal is starting to recognize trance music. We showed up at like 2am from ottawa and we waited in line til like 4am. Luckily we walked in on Seven Cities. That made the wait all worth it. Ferry was awesome but like someone mentioned, unpredictable!! I was expecting a very different set from him but I was pleasantly surprised with something a little different. A lot of the tracks he played I didn't recognize but they were awesome. Hopefully we have someone out there who recognized a lot of them. Here are a few tracks I remember:

Solar Stone - Seven Cities (Armin Van Buuren Mix I think?!)
Eon - Pocket Damage
Funk Einsatz - Punk
Gouryella - Ligaya
Jas Van Houten - Heaven's Gate
Matanka - Lost In A Dream (Push Mix)
Mauro Picotto - Back To Cali (Push remix)
Plastic Boy - Silver Bath
Rapid Eye - Circa Forever
Signum - Cura Me
System F - Out of the Blue (not sure what mix)
Veracocha - Carte Blanche **could NOT believe he played this
Oliver Lieb - Subsonik (Filterheadz Remix)
System F - Needlejuice

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! I just woke up... and... i have no words for my night, except that i was madly disappointed that Dave Seaman didn't show up... This was the first time i go to sona since march, and I am never setting foot in there ever again... Ugh, I'm so disappointed... Seaman is one of my favourites, and I had to go to the shack (Sona, duh!) to see him, and he wasn't even there...

On to Ferry... I got to Aria at 5 am, and saw most of you great people... I swear to god, us TAs are the best, we fuckin rock!!! hahaha.. I thought Ferry was simply nuts the way he was, going crazy with the crowd.. I think he just went up the ranks for me as my favourite DJ... I was able to get inside the DJ booth, and had a kick ass time partying with Zing and Taha, and also not to mention Biggy, I've never met anyone like you, a person that ones a huge place like that, and parties all night with us... man you rock... When ferry started play Ligaya... i started to get shivers... That moment just made my night, all my troubles about Sona and what not went away in a split second, and I was able to enjoy the music, what an awesome moment... after Ligaya, I slipped Ferry a note: "You just made my night, Thank you so much, YOU ARE GOD"... and I meant it.. he took that paper and slid it inside his vinyl collection... It sounds cheezy, but it's the same thing as people are when they meet superstars like actors and singers... he is my superstar ... What else, I which Ferry wouldn't have stopped playing, but things always eventually end... Milanster???? where wree you??? also, Malek, you are one of, if not the coolest TAs ever... You fuckin Rock... ACA2000, same goes to you...

Anyways, I don't know what else to say... I had a kickass time, Ferry is my new #1...

Umm, I'm debating about Sunday, Lots of my friends want me to go to black and blue, and I dont know if i want to go... I may end up at Picotto, but we'll see.... I'll let you guys know for sure Tomorrow...

I think thats it... Later guys!!!

TechnoFreak (Fab)

p.s. I have the best trick for when you start to get hungry at aria, and want it to go away, most of you know this, but if you don't, here's what you do... You feel hu8ngry, drink a red bull fast, and it'll go away... works every time, but after a while hunger comes back... thats why i think i had like 8 red bulls last night, hahaha

but the rest of the set was perfect (except when we lost the sound for 1/2 secs..).

I was watching Ferry spin at the exact moment that happend. It looked like he accidently hit the volume nob (or something to that effect) as he was taking his hands off the turntable. Then again, I don't know anything about DJ'ing, so he could have done that on purpose. :s lol

I was really happy with the set. It was my first time at Aria, and must say it was pretty damn kewl.

I met with a few TA's, but if you asked me to put a face to their names I wouldn't be able to - I'm forgetful like that (sorry boys). For those of you who don't remember who I was; I was the loser with the sweater tied around my waist, Yankee hat, white t-shirt and jeans. Next time I'll know better to not wear a sweater to Aria.

hey Greg i saw you , i think you were behind the booth during the beginning of the set , right ?

i just woke up from sleeping and i'm still my legs hurt like hell

Axel it wasn't Dub.wav but Armin - Sunburn and he played Sasha versus Junkie XL - Beauty Never Fades (Dub version) from a CD-R.

the blond girl is from Quebec she promotes for Cube Afterhours , that's what she told me.

and once again it was great meeting the TAs specially the new ones , this is what makes the party better

What's up TA's

Well, along with AKA2000, and company, our crew came down from Ottawa, unfortunetly a little too late, and we had to wait in line for a really long time. It's our fault I guess for being lazy and not gettting the tickets like we were going to. Anyways, I went down last night not really sure if I were going to actually meet any of you TA's but thanks to my socializing addict buddy (AKA2000) he managed to introduce me to a few of you. Malek, your crew is awesome, I can't wait to see all your pics dude!! Biggy, for someone who ones a club to that extent, you were real great for taking the time to say what's up!! There were a couple others but the memory only extends so far in these circumstances.
Review: Ferry was amazing! I was also surprised at his set, since it wasn't exactly what I was expecting from him, but still a great mix. I'm definetly not down with the amount of "Candy Ravers" that decided to flood the club! Where did they come from? "Punk" was the song that really made my night, and I love the way Ferry took his time bringing it in and then mixing the different remixes! Perfect!!
Well, it was a blast, and I'm already excited for the next time!!
Talk to you all soon!
