Hi djash
I remember you being upset when I gave up the bam archive. I simply can't handle the music anymore. Everytime I time I try to listen to new sets it just feels like a slap in the face. The. Complete, utter shit. And the older sets which I love and would love to 'work' on, nobody could care less
Fuck the world 2005-> |
Hello, you already changed nickname for 3 times
There are a lot of people, who cares about tracklistings of old sets, but they are spreaded all over the web! The big problem now to gather them in 1 place!!! Honestly, long time ago i thought about it, but for now i don't have any idea how to do this!!!
My favorite DJs changed their style, so only once a year i can update their archives, don't have any wish yo do it more often. All massive events also promote commercial shit, who doesn't play that music, he/she doesn't plays on those events!
But, come on, guys! Don't give up! Now many people listen to old music, like your parents listen The Doors, Manfred Mann, The Beatles, ABBA e.t.c. I don't care about new music except for Apparat, Holden and other experimental underground artists! Thanks a lot to Boiler Room for recording videos from their parties with all those underground DJs!!!
Just listen old music which you like and love, try to find some still unknown tracks in their sets, add it on some boards (as i lost all my tracklists on dead HDD, so now i have access to most of them on TA or some other boards, who copied it fro here), and i believe one day we will have some website/blog/forum or other social network where we can gather many people, who really interested in it!!!
Besides, now we have a few more positive things: Shazam - which really helped us a very lot in identifying old tracks and classic stages on big events, to remember old good music and to have in collection new sets of favorite DJs with lovely old stuff!
So, don't get lost, keep in touch and share any ideas how to make it better! If almost everywhere you see commercial shit, then look to new opportunities for high quality music, less competitors on that market place.

I understand that they are meant to be public and all.. But no one anywhere on the whole wide web tried to help out. And yet they kept spamming me to do this and re-up that. Fucking leeches.
djash I have this 1997 wbam set from Moscow. Good quality audio, patented god-awful mixing, monster tracks between the wrecks and mindless un-inspired scratching. Will you take a peek if I post it someday? |
Agree on that. I don't mean everyone, but some users just ask to upload and that's all help from them on this board. My position, that you should give before you receive something. We all here WORK FOR FREE, and we just hope for others help not less, not more. I can help with some artists, other users with some other artists, and in total we have many DJs with hundreds thousand tracklists! It's a very lot of FREE work of many people across the globe!
About that set i'll start tracklist soon
