Real Name: Laurent Veronnez
Birth date: 10-12-1977
Laurent a.k.a. Airwave lived in Brussels until he was 20 years young, experimenting with computers and synthesizers at his home. After sending his first demo to Lightning records - the home of the Bonzai label - , he became one of the artists of the new age in electronic music.
After the first small successes with PLG, North Pole, Montera and Magnetix he had his first breakthrough with the first release of Fire & Ice. He decided to move to Antwerp to concentrate on his productional work. The first results were new releases for Fire & Ice, Planisphere and Meridian. After that he evolved more and more to become a real professional artist by producing both Airwave and Body-Shock.
All that together with the launch of Bonzai UK made him an instant star in the progressive and trance scene. Besides all that he was also commissioned to make remixes for Yves Deruyter, Da Hool, Aurora, Solar Stone, Blue Alphabet,...
Laurent has always essentially been influenced by the roots of electronic music, since the early beginning : from Kraftwerk to FSOL. Great producers as Jarre, Orbital, Oliver Lieb, BT,... are still taking his breath away.
He defines his musical style as "pure electronic dance music" which is a result of many years of discovering and getting inspired by his musical heroes, whom he calls "the gods of technology"...

Sorry voor het opgraven van deze thread maar waar kan ik dit album kopen? In de winkel kijken ze me aan als of ik van Mars kom als ik ernaar vraag. Op www.lightningrecords.be kun je hem wel bestellen maar ik zie nergens info over betalingsmanieren en eventuele verzendkosten. Als iemand het album heeft gekocht zou ik graag weten waar en hoe, alvast bedankt.

Dat er op het album allemaal edits staan is wel jammer maar ik heb zoveel mp3z van Laurent Veronnez dat ik me wel een beetje verplicht voel om ook een keer iets van hem te kopen.

het album lijkt me echt onwijs oke. de meeste ken ik wel. maar dattie ook de green martian is, dat is pas goed. die nieuwe wizardry en harmonic minor zijn SUPER! alle tracks van de green martian zijn eigenlijk wel top. wat mij betreft is hij de beste producer die er is. vooral nu ik weet dat ie ook airwave is.

JUISTEM, ik dacht gisteren dus ongeveer EXACT hetzelfde, want toen ik dur dus om vroeg keken ze idd in de compu en was het: euh, nee, we kunnen alleen van die lp's voor je bestellen

dus verbaasde me er al een beetje over... straks moek nog moeite doen om het ding te kopen ook...
