trance is always trance, it's just evolving..even our reptilians ancestors probably looked pretty corny to the nephilim...at the time....but low and behold, a human came along..and humans arent that bad.

Like 10 years ago, I'm not expecting anything spectacular to happen in trance, but I'm surprised about the still huge number of uplifting tracks made nowadays. Also about the number of people following it. The number of new producers I never heard of increases week by week.

I'm not sure about that. I don't think it sounds as memorable and emotive as it used to. Now either that's a fact, or it's simply me growing up and growing out of it.

But can you really compare any Trance tracks of today to something like Moogwai - Viola or Slipstream - Krakatao, from 14 years ago? The latter is what they played at Electric Daisy Carnival in 2000, as opposed to the Ping Pong Trance played there now. I've yet to hear something remotely as memorable or emotive, and I don't think it's only my nostalgia speaking.

I agree.

As a bonus, there was a degree of introspection that some of those tracks could deliver to the listener... those are very rare now.
