not to say that proteins couldnt still strengthen it...strange situation tho. i dont think weak hair has much to do with baldness tho - i thot it was whether your grandfather on your mothers side was bald, since thats how the genes pass|

I used to have alot of problems with my hair, and i started getting a receiting hairline. so i shaved my head and now it's growing faster & thicker than b4. but that sux b/c now i gotta shave at least once a week

Ive always had really thick and shiny hair... but I found when it starts to get longer I get a good bit of drain hair in the shower... anyways I ran out of shampoo the other day so I got some of that vo5 balsam & protien shampoo... no more drain hair. I guess the protien really helps

I used to use heaps of really hardcore gel in my hair, then my scalp started getting really dry, my hair was fucked up and i noticed that I shed more hair than normal, so I stopped using gel for a while and washed my hair with egg yolks (not the whites), rinse it out with water and rinse it with camomile tea, not washing that out. After a couple of weeks my hair/scalp was really healthy again so I was able to use gel again - more moderately. These days my hair is really short so I don't use anything in it.
