Thanks for your feedback guys, I appreciate it...
Here's the situation now:
I'm allowing him to use one of my older tracks which he likes... I din't mind changing that one, since I don't intend on promoting that one or putting it onto any new albums...
But he took a listen to my newest track, one that I haven't even put up on my mp3.com site yet, and he says he wants to use that one as well... In my personal opinion, it's the best pure trance track I've made so far, so I don't really wanna ruin it... So I'm thinking twice about changing that one... as far as money goes, we still have to negotiate whether I want royalties from each CD he sells or just a lump sum once we're finished producing... I think I might go for the lump sum, cuz I don't think he'll sell very many albums... it's more of a demo CD, since he's looking to get signed to a record label...
But anyway, do u guys think I should let him use my newer track?
Oh yeah, and all my tracks are copyrighted, so I don't have to worry about that...
