I guess time will tell. My anxiety is constant, it's more like my mind is warped - I don't know, perhaps a mood disorder. It started about 3 years ago, when I had a panic attack, and no, it's not only situational. I wake up and go to sleep in the same warped, deranged state of mind, whether I'm around people or not. Maybe it's depersonalization, I've no idea and the doctors are having trouble diagnosing me, as well. They do say, however, that my anxiety is "secondary" to some mood disorder with mixed symptoms.
I'll probably be getting tickets for the 11th or 12th. I'll be there 5 days. Hopefully I'll return alive and kicking afresh.
Most iboga treatment centers charge at least $4,000, whereas this dude is not charging me a penny. Mostly because it saved his life from having terrible social anxiety and being suicidal, to becoming completely rid of it. He's offering to reimburse me fully (for flight tickets, expenses, etc.) if it doesn't work 100%.
I've been researching this plant for the past few days and I've found some interesting information:
On forums, regarding mental illness:
"well ever since my iboga/ibogaine exp last year my bi-polar, panic anxiety, and shizoeffective disorders have more or less vanished and my mind feels like ive had a factory reset. sorry to give life to an old thread but i felt i should toss in my 2 cents on this subject since i do or did have some serious psych issues but for almost 2 years now i havent had a single flareup of any of them what so ever. ibogaine=defrag and factory reset of the brain and much of the body. if youd like to know more regarding my exp please do feel free to contact me either on AIM under the name Mindash2012 or send an e-mail to [email protected] and id be more than happy to go into further detail on both my ibo exp and my psyche issues"
"Sorry for necrosis bumping but everyone has failed to mention that taking a flood dose of ibogaine will metabolize into nor-ibogaine which is an SSRI that keeps working for about 6 months. This has the potential to help with afflictions such as anxiety and depression."
A person diagnosed as Scizophrenic 32 years ago: "Going on two years now and I am still microdosing iboga. There must be other mentally ill people who could benefit from this practice. It helps me to go to work every day and stay off disability. It lifts my mood and clears my thinking. I can't say enough about this plant and its affect on my mind."

Iboga, besides being extremely effective for all sorts of drug addictions, also treats Depression and can be effective for Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease as well:

Sheeet, I was really skeptical and thought your next post may have to do with Beatles lyrics played in reverse, but I'm glad you feel it's worked.
Now stop fucking posting in the c0r and make some music
(then post about it in the production forum of course).

Thanks guys. So far, I'm feeling great. I'm extremely grateful for this opportunity which I believe was a genuine healing, and then some. I'm now trying to spread the word on Iboga around the web regarding it's psychiatric healing properties.
If anyone's interested in further edification on Iboga/Ibogaine, the following are medical doctors' reports:

I'm taking a break now from doing mindbending psychotic acid techno. I'm just really not in the mood at the moment, as my mind feels quiet, calm and relatively peaceful. I am still waiting for the Roland HS-60 to arrive, so perhaps I'll get down to business soon, if the mood strikes me.

As opposed to the ongoing "treatment" that pills with typically bad side effects offer.
