If you can get your hands on it, get the Maverick promo, it has the full length Tiesto mix on it.

Positiva did this with the full release of janeiro too. although they had a 2x12" release, they edited the armin, p&k, james holden mixes and stuffed em all on one of the vinyls. the cd had the full armin mix, and both formats of the promo had all full lenght mixes.

Are you sure about Janerio, cause my one on Vinyl with the Armin Van buuren, James Holden and Original MIx are full lenghth stuff...they don't fade out.

ONLY my southern sun....

you can try slowly raising the volume as it fades so that the fading doesnt seem so obvious. Takes practice though, but not much!

The version i have is on the ready steady go/southern sun double pack. I just checked and mine doesnt fade at the end. It ends clearly. This isnt a promo or anything........not that i care, i rarely spin this anymore. But if you do mix out mix with something that has basically a beat and highs. If you try to add something with a melody they will overlap and you are shot.

Like busy child said, try raising the volume to make the drop out not so dramatic. The other solution is to mix earlier, then on the final break at the end have the second track in at about full throttle and cut out the bass in southern sun. Then you will have time on those last two or three phrases to fade out southern sun before it does its crappy fade out. I usually do the second one, but if you are shaky on your beat matching skill go with the first one.

I suggest mixing in the next track right when "Southern Sun" begins. Then we won't have to listen to that overhyped, overrated, overplayed cheesy piece of pathetic mess. Just a thought.

mix in a track with a huge bass line like Mark Norman - overkill
