i agree. i meet a lot of ppl online but IM isn't enough to really get to know someone.

Over then net, the way you act/speak etc may not be a true depiction of your true self. For that reason I think that LOVE over the net is truely impossible... As people have already said, I feel the net can build a relationship (speaking from experience ) but can't find "true" love...

On the other hand, you could claim that the net rips away the physical side to a relationship and breaks it down to simply to the mental part... Making it a relationship not distorted by looks
