Why don't you exercise a bit of self-reflection. It costs you nothing to stop using personally insulting language. General insults--jerk, ass, whatever--don't matter; they apply to everyone. Using a piece of someone's personal identity--race, gender, sexual orientation, physical/mental ability--is not okay, because you are then telling all the people who share that identity that they aren't worth as much as other people.

typical case of someone getting offended only when it comes around to them. When someone asks you to stop using a potentially hurtful word , the nice thing would be to stop. It doesn't reduce your ability to express yourself. You probably don't mean harm but that isn't relevant. Someone is asking that you stop. It doesn't mean you are wrong. It only means you should grant a reasonable request.

I think you are quite offensive. You made a terrible comment regarding women and you seem to find it funny to use marginalized groups to say very little and as someone that has a knack for being funny, very not funny.

You are also on a forum for a style of music that owes everything to gay culture. I understand you are just being a good but there are gay members here and you should just stop when someone has asked you several times.
