bailed on going out cold is still lingering

I went for a little 5k run after work. I wanted to go for a 10+ mile cruise in the sun but I need to save my legs for football tomorrow afternoon. A mate unexpectedly came over for a beer and now I'm chilling to some ambient and trying to sober up sufficiently to do a bit of writing.
