ok ... remix parts format

usually i just dump each individual track, then the remixer can chop it up however they want

is that the acceptable way to do things?

personally i cant be arsed chopping up tracks to suit every different person, if the person wants to remix a track then i believe the onus is on them to take the parts that are given (in adequate form) and make of them what they will!

wetransfer is good but you always need to know the remixer's email...

I typically provide the dry vocal tracks, a few individual audio tracks for the most identifiable instrument parts, and MIDI for a few of the most important parts (mostly to make it easier for the remixer to have the right chords). I typically don't provide all of the individual tracks, and I never provide any of the drums/percs or SFX.

Dropbox or Google Drive also work pretty well.

Oh, and providing the original key and tempo is usually helpful.
