You know I'll actually agree with this.
For audio, touchscreens are really not needed, and you certainly never want to sit that close. I do like the size - when I worked on some of the really big score projects, having two 32" apple cinema displays was a godsend but I did have to sit two or three feet away from them or my brain would melt.
The sad thing is, I do 10 times more design work or general business multitasking these days than I do audio so this would probably be really nice to use.
