I quit going out to trick-or-treat when I was about 8 ( in considered it too much of a hassle). So I'd hand out candy at my dad's house or mom's house (divorced parents). My parents houses were quite close to each other (about a 1/4 mile down the road from one another). Both houses were near a city called Pontiac, which was like mini-Detroit. And black kids with no costume would come to both houses and get candy. Little fuckers wouldn't even put up any effort. Especially funny were the young (early 20s and less) mothers who would be pushing baby strollers, asking for candy.
These kids aren't bad but I spent $35 and ran out of candy again. Must have been 70+

I let the girl that lives in the basement apartment have a few friends over in the upstairs of my place. She had some friends over to drink wine and hand out candy while I did a listing presentation for a house I'm trying to list and went to jujitsu. I came home around 8 and our street was packed. She had ran out of candy by like 7:30. I couldn't believe how many kids were out. reminded me of the 80s and early 90s.

It rained over here. I think the doorbell only rang about 4-5 times. Must have sucked for the young-ins, the weather was holding out too, right until 6:30.
