Well i made my mind up. Just gotta wait a few weeks to get the extra month to buy them. Here is what i found out.

I actaully to fuck around with both the CDJ 1000's and the final scratch.

I am buying the CDJ's. Why...... stablity. Final scratch is an awesome creation but like first run whatevers....... it has its flaws. Unless you have a completely upto date fast computer the program that runs in linux will fail. Hell the version i fucked with at GuitarCenter kept crashing. And that was on a Viao that was less than a year old. Yea it has a nice feel to it...... but when i laid my grubby fingers on the CDJ's and all that you can do with it.....

I am sold.

Thanks for your help guys. But if you ever have to decided between the two..... try them out side by side. You will easily see the better of the two.

That was another factor in my choice. If i had only a few vinyl with it would be either a short set or a boring set were i play a song fade play the flip side of the other fade and repeat.......

CD-R's will be better. Now i can have a permenant back up of all my Vinyl. Burning all to .wav and in a few weeks i will be complete with the rest of the vinyl. 568 vinyl to continue to burn till i have a complete back up......

Stealing when i pay 12-20 for CD maxi's and mini's?? Please. i am a club DJ. If i even walked into an upscale club with a bunch of CD-R's I can gaurentee that i will never work there again. I make money to support the artist. The only reason i download is to see what i like and dont like. If i can get it on vinyl, i get it. If I cannot get it i look for it on CD maxi or mini. And when you play on a 10000 watt system......... the flaws of mp3's stand out. Besides i dont think i can offord to pay a fine for playing and getting busted with an mp3...... let alone being someones bitch in jail...

Trance_Nut, im not saying there are people who wont follow the rules. There are a lot of pro DJ's out there who will use this the way its mentto be used. but shit man, you know how much easier it makes it for the other 90% of digital djs?
