I thought this thread had died after I thanked Vernon. Anyway, here's how my first month went:- Sample Subscription: This is what I use the most, and it's a lot of fun.
There are loads of quality sample packs, and they're all sorted according to instrument, genre, key, tempo, planet alignment, you name it. It's quite easy to navigate, although I tend to press the arrow keys whenever I want to go up or down and this leads to a cacophony of samples playing at the same time.
Also, it comes with its own download software, and it reminds me of the old Beatport Downloader (or whatever it was called). It sorts all your samples in different folders, and it's much more organised than I'd ever be
- The Collab System: It's apparently a good way to collaborate with other artists. Never used it, but it looks quite handy.
- Synth Rental: Haven't tried this one yet either, but I've never seen a single person who doesn't like it.
So, yeah, I guess this all boils down to "Lira found a nice place to download sample packs"
