Yeah they renumbered the series in America (the American 2 was my first purchase), then they retconned the numbering to be more in line with the European releases, including re-releasing the early ones with the 'correct' numbering. It's like what happened to the Final Fantasy series, but with mix CDs.

Took a bit of a listen to the Lithuania GU and... it's not bad? A little dry in spots but towards the middle of disk 1 it picks up.

It’s not the only consistency problem GU has in its catalog. For whatever reason, several releases in the City Series are instead titled after their country, like GU: Brazil and GU: Romania, which were respectively set in Sao Paulo and Bucharest (and as recently as GU: Lithuania).

I guess for Romania and Lithuania, they probably figured most people would have no idea where Bucharest and Vilnius were :P
