I've just had the most Vermont Friday ever.
I had a meeting at work with the head of the Centre for Cuban Studies and the head of the Centre for Italian Socialism in my university. I was surrounded by pictures of Che Guevara and Fidel Castro, while one of the professors talked about Gramsci. And, there I was, typing away my computer with a gigantic New England Patriots sticker on it. Needless to say, I stood out like a sore thumb but, hey, Bernie Sanders would be proud!
Completely knackered though.

Yeah here in the Ohio Valley we have been alternating between snow and spring weather. We got 6 inches of snow just a couple weeks ago. Warm weather has been long awaited.

Parenthood is fulfilling in many ways but one way it's not is the late night EDM club scene. Who would have thought we don't have time for that anymore!

Felt like a god after my run this morning. I'd forgotten what a brilliant natural high it can be. Doesn't hurt that the weather's beautiful here today. I've been floating around town with Selected Ambient Works 85-92 on the headphones, still buzzed on my runner's high.
It’s my bday today. A few weeks ago I decided I should go in for a physical since I haven’t had one ever since my doctor retired. So I booked one up with my new doctor which would also be a first visit. Figured I’d make our first meeting super awkward by making him stick his finger up my butt the first time I meet him. So I showed up to my physical yesterday and we did the usual stuff. Blood test, urine test, weight, height , eye exam etc.. so we came to the end of it all and I told him “alright let’s get this over n done with. I’ll take off my pants.”... and he was like “whoa whoa whoa!! Hold up there Eric. You’re way to young to give a prostate exam to. We don’t start doing that until you are at least 40.”
I was like wtf!? “ my old doctor started when I was 20?!.”
This whole fuckin time I was taking fingers in the ass for no reason!
