havent actually used timecode, doesnt it really affect the feel of the pitch?

Tbh, timecode was OK, it was pretty tight to the point that there really wasn't any difference (and I'm a cvnt about these details such as latency).

One thing I hate though was that fucking 1khz tone the records put out - I can hear it (actually coming from the needle, like don't even have the mixer switched on and you can hear the tone from the needle touching the groove).

Also, like any other record it was prone to skipping.

These phase thingies don't suffer form any of that.

I'd love to just stay anal log, but there's only a couple of record stores that sell frog and prance here and with my time constraints, it's basically going to be 10 mins of beatport to get whatever tracks I have little time to play with.
