Yeah, because of having to be up early and parent, and having to drive home. I had been drinking water all night as well, and didn't want another glass of water, but also didn't want to drink a whole beer or half the volume of a beer, so that seemed like the obvious solution. Bahaha

That's a bit extreme isn't it? You ventured deep in to the manc and left because the warm up had delusion of grandeur? Having said that, it is a little over the top given the tempo that Olander seems to be more laid back in style.

I've been intrigued to see Olander play for a while as I like his blend of house and tech but never managed to catch him live.

Olander was playing for three hours. The aforementioned idiot was on for the two hours prior. I would have had to imbibe something chemical to get to the end of the night, and I didn't think it was worth annihilating my weekend for three hours of music.

I’ve never been happier and yet I am so grounded, it’s weird, because my life hasn’t been easy for the past sixteen months or so. I can finally pee in a cup, been alcohol, cigarette, and weed free for months. I am addicted to intermittent fasting, keto, the gym, the beach (like, i’m So happy to have left California - I hate the desert, and yeah SoCal is ok really nothing to write home about - NorCal is just plain boring, the beaches are awful, nothing to do but work, pay exhorbitant bills - politics are cool - but when it gets hot in Cali, it’s a weird dry desert-y heat - my ancestors spent enough time in a desert....no thanks, SKIP!)

Anyways, I am back to clubbing and enjoying new sounds in Dance music, I love the new blood, and I think it’s refreshing to see so many people congregate and have fun and let go. Looking back I feel like a dick for sticking to an ‘‘underground music only mentality’, making music is hard as fuck, and it’s all subjective really. I rather be open minded than set in my own ways when it comes to listening and engaging with the music scene of late. A lot of self discovery. Or just starting to feel comfortable with who I am Musically, and that could change, because I still think dance music will continue shifting. I never see myself getting old in that sense. The music is still mathematical and abstract that it will never get boring; even if melody making has not changed since ... I mean, Mozart.

Still talking about and to yourself without regard if anyone cares though.
