Wow ... I know a lot of people here are somewhat to very religious and yet we still have the mass majority being pro choice. Is that because most of us have experienced shared infringements on our civil liberties from rave acts, club restrictions, and us being a cultural minority with respects to music? Makes you wonder whether our beliefs are formed through personal gain, experience, or sympathy or through true ideaology.

I'm pro-death, we have way to many people in this world, some 6 billion and we are taking up way to much room so now the other animals of the world wont have a place to live.

That reminds me of what my brother was arguing:

"Institutionalized cannibalism provides a dynamic and effective solution to two of the most debilitating problems in underdeveloped regions of the world: overpopulation, and public hunger."

LMAO, that line is hilarious, but sadly, true at the same time.

yeah and a man had a small contribution too....

under certain circumstances like rape, economics, single mum etc sure its her descision but otherwise the guy should have some input too! there was an episode of 'the secret life of us' where alex had an abortion, it was an unwanted pregnancy, she didn't want a baby then so ok she had an abortion. but the guy responsible for the pregnancy had no input at all!! she sent him an EMAIL saying basically 'im pregnant, having an abortion, how u doin?' that really pissed me off. all i can say is if i found out a girl i had a relationship with was pregnant because of me and i got an email saying shes having an abortion i would be pissed off. even if it both people agree to it, the fact that she didn't at least discuss it with him pissed me off.

i dont think it is 'immoral' or 'wrong' to have an abortion, and i dont think people should be pushing those beliefs onto others, on any topic. sure i think having a baby would be great and an important step in your life but if the couple (or single!) dont feel its the right time or they/she couldnt support a child then i dont see why they cant decide to have an abortion. of course it would be sad and you would probably feel horrible for a while but you would know that you made the right choice under the circumstances you are in.

i am pro-choice. i have always been. it is unlikely as well that abortion will be used by ppl as a form of birth control as it can be costly (depending on what country you're in) and is generally something not very fun to go through. there really is no pt in bringing up a child into this world if you cannot provide the proper care, attention, stability and love. as to how late one should be able to have an abortion...well, i think what the rules are now regarding the timing of abortions is just fine. oddly enuf, the issue of immorality doesn't bother me much...
