So when I think Romanian minimal, I think this. It's the track that got me into it a few years ago.

Briefly exchanged words with Crihan at a party last year after the cops raided it 30 minutes into his set. Seemed like a cool guy. "I was just getting warmed up. I had so much more to give you."

Here's a few tracks I enjoy.

Been listening to this set quite a lot lately. I think it's pretty great.

Romanian house sort of cliches itself. 10 - 12 minute durations. Make sure your name ends in 'esh. You can get away with standard minimal percussion loops but if you really want to sell some copies a low riding minor key melody of any sort will get it done. I can spot one of these Romanian releases on juno's new releases page just by looking at the logo art alone. Barac is probably the best of the bunch in terms of interesting production. I like him a lot.
