Does the track have to be an experience, or is it enough if I've experienced something significant while the track was playing?
Well I don't know, I don't know shit about trance, and everyone knows BT, but the first time I ever fingered a girl in a club was at some point accompanied by Mercury & Solace. If only we could go back in time and finger some of our first girlfriends again.

Go on then Matt, I'll post a few for you:
Way Out West - Domination (Mururoa Mix)
BT - Firewater
Enigma - I Love You... I'll Kill You
Obviously the last one is cheesy is hell, but spark up a fat spliff, turn the lights out and tell me the tempo change in the middle doesn't make your hairs stand on end.

Its cheese but the whole setting live and the people give me the good vibes.
1. Bicep is not cheese
2. what is cheese nowadays anyway?
As for the tracks that are more like experiences, I think that we have less of these tracks nowadays. It seems that most tunes are more geared towards being very specific tools for DJ's and all the progression from one state of energy or feeling to another is left entirely for DJ's. I mean, take a look at what Joris Voorn plays for example. His sets have plenty of variation and atmosphere, but it is almost entirely down to his programming. Taken separately the tunes that he plays dont really go anywhere.
Anyway, for me three such "experience type" tracks spring to mind immediately, although there are many many more.
