My knowledge of things S Korean derives mostly from Yummyboy channel on Youtube.
I wonder what it is like to be able to use a name like that with not a single qualm in sight.

As an addendum to my earlier post, I would like to say I've only recently realised what an absolute monster the original, much-less played Subway Mix of this tune is. This on a big system must sound like a percussive freight train hurtling straight for your serotonin glands:

You can hear/see it here in this boiler room (around 38 mins). Have to give this guy his due on mixing it in with basically a set of club oriented nu disco and did so quite seamlessly. Great looking club also with perfect lighting and patrons actually dancing.

nice, I've listened to that bozzi mix several times and never looked at the playlist, but it definitely sounded like an old tune

Nicely done by the guy. Tunes like this are a DJ's best friend: no breakdown, just a perfect momentum builder that stays interesting all the way through. Another one from the same era I still regularly play is Saints & Sinners - Pushin' Too Hard. Never going to be the peak of the set but great tunes to join the dots.

Uh... correct me if I'm wrong, but how is this set not just good ol' classic trance? Sure, the production is more modern, but I hear nothing disco about this.
Or is 'nu space disco' now another term we've given to DJs in denial about playing trance music?

The opening track is nu disco, imo. Feels very New Order / American Psycho. After that, though, yeah, this is a trance set lol
Fair enough if you think it's trance. I really have zero clue about what is Indie Nu Disco, Nu Disco, Dark Disco etc but I have seen on beatport (take it with a grain of salt) that a lot of the stuff played in the set is classified in those genres. Personally, I wouldn't call it trance but that's my interpretation. The only thing I know for sure is it's a far cry from West on 27th on a bunch of levels which was more my initial point.

It's trancey but it's not trance. What never really gets talked about on TA is that there's been a massive evolution of the cosmic disco /dark disco sub-genre in recent years to become the kind of quite epic material you can hear in that set. Some of the guys I DJ with in Manchester play this stuff heavily. Beatport still lumps a lot of it under the woefully inadequate "indie / nu disco" tag.

Surely the combination of that hairdo and the tache would make any person go dry between the legs though

There's a sort-of progression between the 80s Italo disco, then HI-NRG, then early trance IMO....
