The joke was, if we may call it one, that the observer's experience of time is slowed down by his or her speed relative to the speed of light - where instead "time moves slow" was a comparison drawn between the emotional experience of time, and the "speed of life".



Granted, I am less interested in Special Relativity and more intrigued in an emerging field of research which suggests time moves forward through the interaction between discrete quantum systems.
