things on top of my agenda, that would break my conservatism
1) recognition of global warming, taking steps to solve the issue.. which leads to #2
2) alternative energy, hydrogen... omg WHY ARE WE USING OIL...as it has been stated before, I whole heartedly agree, put a dent in the arab nations.
3) USA's national debt... about 1/3 of our taxes go just to pay for interest on our evergrowing debt.... we must get rid of it... but politicians really dont give a hoot, because they are only in for 2-6 years, and as long as everyones happy while they are in office they will get reelected (which I understand)... but it should not be that way.. someone should stand up and fix it
4) Seperation of church and state, I think that church and state should be seperate. period. no 10 commandments in the alabama courthouse, etc.. people have the freedom to do as they choose in that sector.
5) No federal funding to send children to private schools, they are not better than the children who attend public schools, there is no reason that more tax dollars should go to send one child to a private school, more than another.
ha hmm.. basically I thought of everything that I would change about the republicans, I guess other than those issues, I support them... (not the pro-life ideal though).... My political viewpoint for hte most part is conservative, but most people will agree with me, there needs to be change.... I'm just taking what I see as the right steps :P
