well the information is out that Tiesto will be playing The World on New Years Eve...

I am not sure whether or not he reads his own message board on www.djtiesto.com or the message boards on www.tranceaddict.com or www.trance.nu or www.clubplanet.com or www.ezdreamer.com...BUT most EVERY Tiesto fan is dissappointed because of the ticket prices $200 for general admission!!!!...

Does Tiesto KNOW his REAL fans are getting rip offed like this?...last year at The Dome it only cost around $60 on New Years Eve when he played with Ferry...

Well please advice Tiesto to take a look at some of the message boards because most of his NYC fans will not be in attendance that evening due to the prices.....so i hope he enjots playing for people who dont know him...because at The World that night there will not be many Tiesto fans.....

also remind him that the people who voted him number 1 can easily take that spot away...just as fast as it was given....

Anyway...let Tiesto know this...because most if not all NYC fans are disgraced at this......really let us down...

I sit here, trying to figure out how I can articulate my extreme disappointment with your New Years Eve plans here in my city....New York. 250-450 US Dollars per ticket?????? How dare any of you, including you Tijs, decide to come here and charge such OUTRAGEOUS prices??? For all of the love and all of the passion I have for Tijs and his incredible, magical musical talents, I cannot fathom how you all could let such a thing happen....Im at a loss for words. Were you aware that this would occur? Did you sign off on this? There simply is no excuse for this. I cant stress that enough. Everything Tijs Stands for is in jeopardy here....at least in my eyes...
for all of the amazing shows he has put on....for all of the interaction he has with his fans----when he smiles at us and reaches out and talks with us after shows.....the lsit goes on. Look at this website----the greatest forum on the internet indeed----he even responds to our questions and has dialogue with us whenever he can. He posts lengthy updates and keeps us inforemed on his progression and other various aspects of his life-----------
TIJS_--this are some of the things that make you stand out...make us LOVE you, make us get goosebumps all over our bodies when you create some of the most incredible music imaginable----this is what MAKES YOU NUMBER 1!!!
The ball is in your court now. As devoted, true fans, we all deserve an explanation for this. We deserve to know what will be done about this, if anything.
I implore you all not sell out....dont become the paul oakenfold=-=----god all this time how you have progressed as a cohesive unit under the label of black hole....

Hey Beema and Tiesto14! it's Smitty from the Tiesto forum.

I feel for you guys man, I really really do. This sucks bigtime because I was actually pondering the idea of whether I should come. I knew it would be expensive in NYC (never been there), but over $200???? Nobody is worth that!

Don't get mad at Tiesto only though, tiesto14 because it's not his fault alone. The club owner of the World probably thought he could promote this with the #1 stuff and jack up the prices. THIS IS HOW commercialism can kill trance for everyone. Honestly, what one of us working average joes can afford a night like that??? 200 dollars entrance not including drinks? Like....HOLY FUCK!

It would be great to see Tijs demand lower prices or threaten to pull out of his gig, but I know that won't happen.

I'm seeing Tijs on December 14th at kool haus in Toronto for $25 entrance and he'll be spinning for about 3 hours, maybe longer like last time as peeps have said. That's a good deal.

What a fucking bummer for all you New Yorkers though.....

What?! Now it's 200 bucks?! Hell, last night it was 100 bucks, and I was complaining about that! Pffffff, shame on me. And to think I even entertained the idea of even paying 100 bucks (which I suppose now includes, paying for overpriced drinks, no buffet, no view of the stupid ball, and apparently "unsecure entrance")

I can play my own set, make my own drinks and watch my own balls descend, for free!

I'm pretty sure Tiesto doesn't even know that admission is going to be 200USD.

I'm pretty sure that when DJ signs a contract, he doesn't look at the admission. Can anybody confirm this?
